(July 21, 2020) - "I've never been in love before, but I know when it happens, I will know," said R&B's J. Brown, a multi-Billboard Top 15 chart-topper, about the content of his recently release single titled "Hopelessly in Love" (Mocha Music). "I speak primarily about love. So I told my manager stay on the same page. It's a happy track."

The "Hopelessly in Love" (Mocha Music) single gives you that old-school R&B flavored feel. It's produced by Steve James and written by J. Brown, Maurice Harley, AZM and James. J. Browns vocals on "Hopelessly in Love" brings a reminiscent feel of how it might feel to be "hopelessly in love," how you would sing if you were and where the depth of your feelings just might come from if you were to sing about it.

"My team and I came up with the concept. Staying on the same page," he said about the new single.

"I said let's take them back to that old-school (R&B). (The new single) It's about me and my lady, not that I have one yet," laughed the Detroit native. "But if I did, I'd take it to the moon...our quiet place, just us."

Just to talk to him you can clearly tell he is a hopeless romantic like me. When you in that frame of mine it's all about love, all you see is love - great mind-set to live with. J. Brown took it to the moon on a single titled "Moon" on his debut album "Forever Yours" which garnered him two Billboard "Top 15 R&B Chart" positions. "Moon" stayed there for 13 months and last reported to me it was at #12 and holding. Another single from his debut "Give It To You," made it to Billboard's Top 15 R&B Singles Chart" as well.

The "Hopelessly in Love" single keeps J. Brown's momentum going and it's a great single to do so.

"Having that connection, that's what it's all about," J. Brown emphasized.
