(June 3, 2025) - "My current single is ‘Flame'...from my brand-new album coming out in October," said Dallas native Billie Jo Jones as we talked about her array of hit singles. "It's produced by Kent Wells, Dolly Pardon's producer. This is the second album Kent has produced for me. It has 13 songs. I co-wrote 10 of the 13. So, I'm pretty excited."

The Contemporary Country singer/songwriter/guitarist debuted into the music business with her "Some Girls Don't Cry" album via her current record label Get Joe Records/Orchard.

"It's a small label," she said when I asked about the great support she has. "They discovered me a few years ago. Came and introduced themselves to me. I played several songs for them. They said they could get me to the doors but it's up to me."

Her former single "Right Now Kinda Girl" reached the top of the Texas Regional Radio Chart. The single before her current one is named "Who's Tequila Are You Drinking." Her current single "Flame" also reached the top of the Texas Regional Radio Chart.

Currently, residing in Nashville, Billie Jo is a powerhouse Country vocalist. So fresh is her sound that she has performed on local and national television.

"It comes natural," Billie Jo Jones said when I pointed out her excellent voice control. "I've never been taught, I taught myself, though I've worked with a vocal coach for TV shows."

She started as a child performing for her grandmother in the living room at the age of four.

"I've been doing it full time for three or four years, but I've been playing with a band for 10 years," Jones said when I complimented her on her awesome band.

"Big things are coming for us soon.," she said on a serious note. "It will take us to the next level."  www.BillieJoJones.com
