The Pulse of Entertainment: Texas Country Music Award Winning Trey Calloway Releases New Single, ‘She
Don't Break It' by Dr. Eunice Moseley (July
18, 2025) - "Man, people are loving it," said Country superstar Trey Calloway about his
new single "She Don't Break It". "I had the idea for ‘they don't make it like
they use to'...had this hook. Terry (McBride) wrote it with me, he is a big-time songwriter, and this brand-new producer I've
worked with almost a year...Brandon, who said how about ‘she don't break it like it used to.'"Once you hear Trey
Calloway you know that you are listening to a legend in the making. CMA nominated Terry McBride, who wrote the song with him,
is also a songwriter for Brooks & Dunn and Reba McEntire. The other co-writer of "She Don't Break It" is Brandon
Hood, who is also the producer. "At its core it's a Texas Shuffle (song)," said the Texas Country Music Awards winning
artist to me. "We wrote it in about an hour. I knew what I wanted the groove to be like. I said what if I start the song
with the chorus. The chorus is so hooky. The day we cut it...at Studio Phoenix Mark, the bass player, was having problems.
Terry walked in...he said, ‘Walk the bass line' and that made the record." A North Carolina native who is based
in Nashville, Trey Calloway started singing in the church and by the time he was 10 years-old he was a professional singer.
As a teen Trey's roots were in Contemporary and Southern Gospel. He then found a passion for the storytelling that comes with
Country music and that has been is home ever since. He went on to perform as the opening act for Joe Diffie, Tracy Lawrence,
McBride and The Ride, Pat Green, Edwin McCain, and Craig Campbell. He has performed in such venues as NASCAR Festival, the
House of Blues, and The Tennessee State Fair Opry Stage - to name a few.
"It's about betrayal," Calloway said
to me about the new "She Don't Break It" single as we ended our interview. www.TreyCallowayMusic.com SYNDICATED COLUMN: Dr. Eunice Moseley has an estimated weekly readership of over one million with The Pulse of Entertainment.
