(January 26, 2024) - "After college I put a band together," said Folk/Pop artist Randie O'Neil about her humble beginnings in the music business. "It was therapy for a while."

Her music therapy, because of a hard upbringing, continues to this day as she promotes her "Full Moon Rising" EP during our talk. As a songwriter Randie let's that Folk influence guide her as her content is sincere storytelling.

"I've been performing for years as a solo act," O'Neil added. "My bass player....talks about (putting together) a full band."

Past projects of Randie O'Neil, who has been compared to Miranda Lambert and Pat Benatar, include the "I'm Not That Girl" EP and the "Here I Stand" project. She is gearing up for the release of her "Heart & Soul" EP on Big Records in February.

"Two singles are out now. ‘Don't Tell Mamma' and ‘The Dance.' This Friday ‘Olivia' is released," she said about her upcoming "Heart & Soul" project.

O'Neil has three additional songs currently playing on mainstream platforms, that include the single "Shine," which is playing on the Black Music (24/7) Channel. www.RandieOneil.com
