(January 30, 2024) - "My father's voice became my voice," said Country/Rock artist Michael Botte about his music. "He sang more than he spoke!"A native of Philadelphia, Michael Botte is a chart-topping singer/songwriter who started a band during the Covid pandemic in his hometown. In a time of confusion, he wanted to use his music to evoke a positive atmosphere.

"The band was born out of Covid," Michael added. "I started out with nothing and learned and studied, marketed my demos and I met my producer. He is the biggest reason why I am where I am. I found Big Records through a DJ who had just met the CEO of Big Records. March 1st we're releasing a single, in June another release."

Botte dusted off songs he had written 20 years prior and recorded a demo. He ends up on the Big Records/Orchard/Sony Music imprint releasing chart-topper after chart-topper. Michael, with the help of music producer Bob Beals, has charted #1 on World Indie Music Chart and Radio Indie Alliance Top 10 Chart. He ranked at #2 on Banks Music Promotions Top 10 Chart, #3 on Euro Indie Music Chart, and #4 on Banks Music Promotions Top 10 Chart.

"I tried the guitar, and it didn't work out," he laughed a little, though to this day he still carries and plays a guitar. "My dream was to be a drummer in a band. My dad said I had time. My hash tag is music is my therapy. Without writing and playing (music) there is no telling where I would be."

Expect new material from Country/Rock's Michael Botte and music producer Bob Beals (Sound Foundation Studios) via Big Records, the imprint of today's rising stars.

"There is a dark side (to the music business), because so many of us want to be heard," Michael Botte concluded. "(Big Records) They do their best to think outside the box...the future is bright." www.BigRecord.world/michael-botte-band
